To promote its Rebel T7i, Canon asked us to explore the art of the “perfectly timed photo.” So we partnered with two photographers to imagine a set that captures their style and invited guests to use the camera to capture the action. Here, Jonpaul Douglass — L.A. based photographer with a whimsical style and an affinity for pastels — dreamed up the “Skateboard Rodeo.” We built the ramp in a Venice Beach parking lot for one hot day in October, hired some turquoise-clad, skateboarding cowboys, and let them loose. Guests were able to try the camera and print their expert pics on site.
